The B J P Star Leader Shatrugun Sinha contesting against TV Star Shekar Suman from Patna and Patna Sahib constituency of Bihar, the Star Leader is to offer prayers at one of the Ancient and famous Kali Temples of Patna.
Motor bikes and Cars with Bjp flags hoisted arrive in advance to welcome the Star Leader, who floats to the shrine in a royal flavour with his new model utility sports vehicle, as the black curtain glass comes down, a familiar face to every Indian did manifest from the front seat.
Inspired by Jaiprakash Narayan, Sinha joined B J P in 1980 and was elected twice M P and once to become a Minister who held two portfolios Health and Shipping and made History by being the first member of the Film Fraternity to become a Minister. Born in Patna in 1944 to enter Filmdom at the age of 25 in Sajan (1969 as Havaldar) , during his journey through the Indian Film Industry for nearly a quarter of a century, many prestigious Awards came in search of Sinha, to mention a few, Best Supporting Actor 1973 (Tanhai) , 1974 (Dost), 1979 (Kalapathar) , Best Actor 1980 (Dostana), thus carving a distinct mark for his unique style and powerful screen presence, with varying shades of emotions, gestures coupled to expressions on his body , face and eyes, appropriate to justify his roles as a Villian and Hero, mastered a domain in the minds of millions , to climb the ladder of fame with nearly 185 Films.
Crowds surrounds the vehicle with slogans “Bihari Babu Zindabad” “Bihari Babu Zindabad”, campaigning for her husband the rear seat of the vehicle is occupied by former Heroine and wife Poonam Sinha, who took to a full time house wife after their Marriage, to look after their children Sonakshi Sinha now a Model and Actress, Lav Sinha and Kush Sinha both twins. The make up on the face of the couple neatly managed to hide their age to some extend.
As the crowds increased to surround the vehicle with more slogans (Bihari Babu Zindabad), the personal security staff nearly a dozen of them alighted from the vehicle behind the Star Leader, piercing the crowds of fans and well-wishers, managed a fence by clasping their hands with each other and enabled the couple to alight from the vehicle. The star couple waving at the fans from inside the fence and the crowds shouting Bihari Babu Zindabad from outside the fence walk towards the Temple thus arriving at the Temple 2 hours late. The Temple authorities close the main door of the Temple to open the rear, for the star couple and the Star Secretary Dilip Guptha now a real estate multi millionaire in Jarkand and Ranchi, a former childhood friend and classmate in school, Dilip was taken in as Secretary when the star became a Minister.
The Star group claimed the next visit was to Panch Shiv Mandir at Lohianagar and the day is strictly kept aside for darshan(visit) of Temples with no prominence given to Election Campaign, but visiting Temples by a contesting candidate has now strictly become a prominent method of Election Campaign.
When AmitabhBachchan demonstrated through his Blog “The Freedom of the Blog” and one of its advantages over rivals, by loading it as words and triggering it as Bullets publicly at Sinha. Sinha replied he had seen more Diwali and New Year than Amitabh, who has shown disrespect to a person senior to him.
